FeSetup is a DOS .EXE that is required for the installation and/or upgrading
of all Fe-line Software PEXs dated after the 30th May 1996.

FeSetup was introduced to make the installation of a PEX much simpler and
quicker.  It also removes the problem of some of our PEXs failing to run
under ProBoard 2.15 when they are compiled with the 2.12 SDK.  

FastLog/IEMSI 3.15 was the first PEX to utilise FeSetup.

Please keep this FeSetup archive in a safe place, as it is the key to
installing all of our PEXs.

After unpacking the FeSetup archive, you will find several files.

BUPDATE.EXE
This is used by FeSetup to update PEXs to the correct ProBoard SDK version.

FESETUP.EXE
This is the actual FeSetup DOS executable.  FeSetup requires a .PKG file to
be able to function.  The .PKG file is contained in each PEX archive.

Unpack a Fe-line Software PEX that uses FeSetup.  (All PEXs released after
30th May 1996 will require the use of FeSetup).

You should find a .PKG file and a few text files.

To initialise the installation/upgrade process, type :

FESETUP <package name without the extension>

eg,  if you are installing FastLog/IEMSI 3.15 (or later) then type

     FESETUP FASTLOG      <press enter>

The screen will clear and the installation will begin.

Follow *all* the onscreen prompts and the installation/upgrade will be
quick and simple.

Use ALT and the first letter of the button that you wish to press.
eg, ALT-C for Continue, ALT-I for Install and so on...

You can also use TAB to shift forward through the available buttons and use
SHIFT-TAB to shift backwards.  Pressing ESCAPE at any time will immediately
exit FeSetup.

us thorugh any of the ways listed below.

won't be able to install any of our PEXs.
